When you buy performance injectors, the price you see on our site already includes the refundable OEM core charge. No surprises, no hidden fees.

Core charges are standard in the diesel industry. Manufacturers require your original injectors back so they can inspect, rebuild, and recycle them — and you get your refund once your cores pass inspection.

How Core Charges Work

  • Every injector set includes a refundable core fee.

  • The core fee is already included in the price listed on our website.

  • Send your OEM injectors back within the required timeframe.

  • Once inspected and approved, your core fee is refunded back to your original payment method.

How Much Is the Core Charge?

It depends on the application:

  • Cummins (6): typically ~$900 total core

  • Duramax (8): typically ~$1,200 total core

  • Powerstroke (8): typically ~$1,200 total core

Exact amounts vary by brand and product.
The listed product price already includes the correct core amount.

How to Return Your Cores

After your order ships, you'll receive instructions on how to send back your OEM injectors.
General guidelines:

  • Return cores within 30 days of receiving your new injectors

  • Cores must be OEM, complete, and rebuildable

  • No aftermarket injectors

  • No damage from fire, water, or disassembly

  • Properly package them so they aren’t damaged in transit

When Do You Get Your Refund?

Once the manufacturer receives and inspects your cores:

  • If approved → your refund is issued

  • If rejected → we’ll notify you with the exact reason (rare, but possible)

Refunds typically take 7–14 business days depending on the brand and inspection queue.
